Tuition fees range from £14,000 to £20,000+ per year.
Living costs/maintenance funds required:
£13,347 if studying in London.
£10,224 if studying outside London.
Applicants must have 10% extra funds in their bank account to cover currency fluctuations.
The required amount must be held for a minimum of 28 consecutive days before applying for a visa.
Additional Costs for Dependants (For MRes or PhD Students Only)
If bringing dependants:
£7,605 per dependant if studying in London.
£6,120 per dependant if studying outside London.
Funds must be held for 28 consecutive days.
Visa & Healthcare Costs
Student visa fee: £490.
Healthcare surcharge: Between £1,400 – £1,900, depending on exchange rates on the day of payment.
Accommodation & Living Expenses
Accommodation per month:
London: £850 – £1,500.
Outside London: £500 – £900.
Utility bills, groceries, and food:
£150 – £400 per month (varies by location).
Tuberculosis (TB) Test Requirement
Most students from certain countries must provide a TB certificate from a UKVI-approved health centre.

Credibility Interview
UKVI may randomly invite students for a credibility interview as part of the visa process.
This is to verify genuine study intentions in the UK.
